Holland Conservation Commission
Minutes of Commission meeting held on March 28, 2006.
Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Steven Anderstrom, Patricia Caron, Howard Fife and Rolf Hilbig. Absent: Helen Kreiger and James Wettlaufer.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. Minutes of Commission Meeting held on March 21, 2006 were read, accepted and will be distributed.
7:20 p.m. Alfred (Sonny) Beaudreau, builder, presented us with a Notice of Intent for Tom Kolek of 115 Sandy Beach Rd., Map R-39-F15.4 whose house is presently on stilts due to its being in the flood hazard zone now wants to build a cellar in place of the stilts. We informed Sonny that he cannot put a living space in a flood zone and strongly urged that Tom Kolek, owner attend a HCC meeting so that we can clarify this point with him.
7:45 p.m. We received from Mark Farrell of Green Hill Engineering a check paying the filing fee for a Notice of Intent for Gordon Wiehler of 11 Island Rd., Map R-10-A-19 to repair a septic system. We received from the DEP File No. 184-0198 assigned to this project. Mark Farrell is to be called to set up a Public Hearing.
Agent Howard Fife, being familiar with Francis Gregoire’s property at 60 Wales Rd., Map 16, Parcel 10-1 – lot 1-B, recommends a Notice of Intent and a new Engineered drawing showing the elevations of the property. Motion made to call Mr. Gregoire with our recommendations. Seconded and approved by all.
Agent Howard Fife said he reviewed a possible 9-lot subdivision at map 2A3 at Alexander/Allen Hill.
Motion to adjourn made by Howard Fife, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m.
